Dmitri Alperovitch Receives Outstanding Americans by Choice Recognition

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Honorable Alejandro N. Mayorkas, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, presented Dmitri Alperovitch, Silverado's Co-Founder and Executive Chair, with the Outstanding Americans by Choice (ABC) recognition in a ceremony hosted by Silverado Policy Accelerator and the Alperovitch Institute of Cybersecurity Studies at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the public and private sectors, academic community and think tanks. Following the recognition, Dmitri participated in a fireside chat on current cybersecurity and national security topics with the Honorable Robert Silvers, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy and Plans.

The ABC initiative recognizes the outstanding achievements of naturalized U.S. citizens through civic participation, professional achievement, and responsible citizenship. Recipients of this honor have demonstrated their commitment to the United States and to the common civic values that unite us as Americans.
