Members of Silverado Policy Accelerator's Research & Analysis team and  WireScreen co-hosted this webinar "Elements of Control: Illuminating China's leading role in critical minerals refining." They explored China's dominance of the critical mineral refining industry, and the ties between government, the defense industrial base, and major players in cobalt, lithium, and tantalum. Some key takeaways highlighted in this event were China's hold over the refining of cobalt, lithium, and tantalum, the increased volume of this refining, and the refiners interconnectedness with Chinese government entities.
